Welcome to Leek Golf Club
Having been a member of Leek Golf Club the last 28 years and been playing it for over 40 years it is a great honour to be asked by the membership to take on the role of Club Captain for 2019 and I am now in the privileged position of welcoming visitors and members to our great Golf Club.
You will find our course challenging but fair irrespective of your handicap. The first hole is a gentle par 4, stroke index 18 to allow those nerves to settle, but then the test begins, whether it's avoiding the well placed bunkers or hitting the right spot on the green to prevent 3 putts. `
Our signature holes from the 13th &14th tees take in the fantastic views of the Peak District. Enjoy these elevated positions before concluding your round by taking on the difficult finishing holes. Any par from this point onwards will be well earned and will provide you with justifiable talking points in the clubhouse afterwards.
Leek Golf Club is a long-standing member of the North Staffs and District Golf League, and the North Staffs and District Mens and Ladies’ Alliances. We are proud to be hosting the Staffordshire Foursomes Championship in September, May and August bank holiday Mixed Opens, as well as several other popular Open events throughout the year. Please visit the ‘Opens’ section in our website for further details and downloadable entry forms. Apply early to avoid disappointment.
We at Leek Golf Club know that you will enjoy your visit but before leaving for home please sign off with Greg our Professional to give feedback on your visit. Ask him for details of Society Day availability, Academy Membership, golfing offers and, should you feel that your golf swing requires a tweak, lessons.
Alternatively, you may feel a drink and a bite to eat has been well earned, if so then please pop into the 19th where you will find a welcoming atmosphere together with draught ales and excellent fare prepared by our Club Chef.
If you are interested in golf or house membership we have packages to suit your individual needs.
Thank you for visiting our website.
