I have been a member at Leek Golf Club for 38 years and it gives me great pleasure taking the mantle of Lady Captain following in the footsteps of my mother who was Captain in 1993. I would very much like to welcome everyone; members, new members, academy members, and visitors. Ours is a lovely course and receives excellent reviews.
We have an active ladies’ membership, playing a full variety of weekly competitions throughout the year, from Medals, Stablefords and fun competitions to major trophies, which can lead on to some of our players qualifying to play in national competitions. Our main competition day is Tuesday with additional competitions on Thursdays. We enjoy ladies and mixed friendly matches both at Home and Away with local clubs.
Greg Rogula, our club professional, encourages new players and potential members through an excellent value for money academy scheme. Along with taster days for ladies who would like to give golf a try for the first time. Greg is approachable and helpful so please look out for any forthcoming initiatives or contact Greg for further information.
Our Ladies Open and Halloween Howler are well supported events at a local level and from further afield.
