The Senior Section Captain, Brian Cockersole and the Open Commitee welcomed Captains, Presidents and Gentlemen to our Senior's Open Competition on Friday 1st June.

The event was well attended and the following people should be congratulated on their result:

1st Place    R Davies (Macclesfield GC) & C Pritchard (Cavendish GC)    43 points, Back 9 23

2nd Place   P Rhodes & W Smith (Davenport GC) 43 points, Back 9 21

3rd Place    A Foskett (Wolstanton GC) & R Lewis (Newcastle GC)   41 points

4th Place    R Taylor & P Smith (Buxton High Peak GC)   40 points, Back 9 19

5th Place    K Ratcliffe & A Batty (Leek GC)   40 points, Back 9 18

6th Place    A Percival & D Davenport (Astbury GC)   39 points, Back 9 20

OVER 70's

1st Place    P Riley & A Harrison (Leek GC)   38 points

2nd Place   P Mitchell (Mottram Hall GC) & A S Parkes (Tytheringston GC)   37 points

Thank you to all those who took part. Monies raised on the day from the competition raffle have been donated to Horton Lodge Special School and The Donna Louise Trust Fund.
