The Seniors Section held its annual Seniors Open on Friday 7^th June for players aged 60 years and over.

The event attracted interest from all across Staffordshire, Shropshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire and this year there were players from 30 different golf clubs with 82 pairs competing.

The competition is a Stableford Fourball Better Ball with prizes awarded to the first 5 places with 2 special prizes for the Over 70’s outside of the top 5. Other prizes, funded by the generosity of our sponsor Lafarge were available for nearest the pin on the 4^th, 7^th, 11^th and 17^th holes.
