On Saturday 13^th May our President, Mike Wooton, hosted the President's Trophy for Juniors. On a great day for golf there was an excellent turnout with 18 Juniors taking part and enjoying food and a prize presentation afterwards.

There were some superb scores on the day as we’re coming to expect from our Juniors. The 18-hole division saw the top three Juniors tied on 39 points, the final result being separated on a back-9 countback which saw Theo Khalifa come out on top with 21 points. Theo Kirtley came in 2^nd whilst Albie Carter was 3^rd. Well done to all three boys, excellent scores. As well as winning the President’s Trophy for Juniors, Theo Khalifa also went home with the nearest the pin prize on the 4^th hole.

There was a similar clean sweep in the 9-hole division which was won by Freddie Brazier with 24 points, Freddie also winning the nearest the pin in 2 prize on the 7^th hole. The short course division was won by Conor Riley with an incredible 9-under par score of nett 27. The nearest the pin in 2 prize for the short course was played on the 9^th hole and won by Theo Dawson.

Many thanks to the President for his generous support of the Junior Section, kindly putting on the prizes and food for the Juniors. All involved had a great day.
