Congratulations go to our Lady Captain Karen Griffiths and Lisa Davies for winning the Ping qualifying competition on the 20^th May.  The competition is run by England Golf and the top 60 stableford scores will qualify for the Grand Final and the next 60 best stableford scores will qualify for the Plate Final.

The Plate and the Grand final take place at Gainsborough Golf Club Thonock Course on the  8^th and 9^th September.  With a score of 41 points Karen and Lisa have an excellent chance of selection.

The winners for the ladies 4 ball better ball run by the ladies section were as follows:

1^st Karen Griffiths & Lisa Davies  - 41 pts.

2^nd  Jayne Baxter & Jan Walker – 40 pts.

3^rd Paula Parkes & Jenny Cordon – 39 pts.
