On Sunday 30th August 2015 27 Ladies took to the course on President’s Day for Ladies. On the first tee the ladies were greeted by Mr President, Lincoln Boulton with a present of a ball marker as a memento of his day. Mr President was joined by Trever Eccleston the Club Captain who acted as starter and John Carr the photographer. Everyone had a welcoming smile and all boded well for an excellent day
The ladies took their turn on the 1st tee always in anticipation of a good round also hoping that the first shot of the day is a good one especially with the audience looking on.
The refreshments and drinks in the Millenium hut were most welcome. Marilyn met us with her usual friendly smile and the cakes were delicious expertly made by Nancy, Marilyn’s sister.
Upon completion of the golf everyone joined Mr President with a glass of wine. The two course meal made by Malcolm, Mr President’s brother in law was excellent. Thanks go to Malcolm and Nancy for stepping in at the last minute.
Mr President thanked all his helpers on the day with a special thank you to Jake for doing the cards.
Lady Captain responded by thanking Mr President for his generosity and presenting Marilyn with a bouquet of flowers on behalf of the ladies section.

Finally the overall winner was
WENDY MARRIOTT with 40 points.
