The ladies and gents of Leek Golf Club travelled to Stafford Castle for the mixed friendly match on Friday 30 August.

The weather once again was very kind to us and with the sun shining we took to the course.

The course was in great condition. Some of the holes were challenging.

Andrew Baxter found the 9th par 3 easy, with a fantastic hole in 1. Congratulations to Andrew and a big thank you for the bottles of wine you provided with our lovely meal.

 After much anticipation the result was announced Leek 6 Stafford Castle 5. Well played everyone.

A return match will be at Leek in 2020.
