They say mad dogs and English men go out in the midday sun. Lady Golfers do too!
41 ladies took to the course on what must have been the hottest day of the year. Phew!
Andrew Baxter was the starter and he welcomed the ladies onto the first tee. Peter my husband was "David Bailey” for the day taking he photographs.
Well needed refreshments were enjoyed in the shade at the half way house (aka the Millennium Pavilion) where Pip and Gail were on hand to look after and spoil the ladies offering them ice cool glasses of freshly made Pimms and beautiful homemade cupcakes.
After completing the 18 holes the beautifully tanned ladies enjoyed a well-earned meal and a glass of something cool before the presentation of the prizes.
The winners were.
