On the 17th May 12 Leek ladies invited guests from various golf clubs to play at Leek on Ladies Invitation Day. The format was a 4BBB stableford competition playing off a full handicap.    Ladies were met on the 1st tee with a smile and a welcome from Ralf Harrison who acted as the starter. The refreshments in the millennium hut were most welcome also served with a smile from Mike Wootton.

The golf was followed by an enjoyable meal and the presentation.  Lady Captain extended her thanks to the following for making the day successful.

1^st Sheila Woolley  and Jude Pearce from Uttoxeter with 44 pts (back nine)

2^nd Lisa Davies and Gill Clarke from Trentham 44 pts.

Marilyn Boulton and Marcia Curl from Westwood shared 18 balls for coming in with a 2 on the card.
