The wet weather did not deter the ladies competing in the Kath Dean Trophy and Bayley Trophy on Tuesday 19th August 2014. 9 Ladies played in the Kath Dean Trophy. This is a Trophy donated to the Ladies Section for the Silver Division Players to compete for and is played over 36 holes. Playing 36 holes in one day is a great test of golf and endurance. The ladies who took this challenge of 36 holes in one day must be admired.

The lowest nett score in the morning was Nel Boulton with a fantastic  68. Lady Captain, Karen Griffiths achieved the lowest nett score of 74 in the afternoon.

The winner of the Trophy over the 36 holes is Georgie Taylor with a nett score of 149.  In 2^nd place was Nel Boulton with a nett 150 and 3^rd was Marion Lilley with a nett 153.

The Bayley Trophy also played on this day is for the ladies in the Bronze Division. The winner was Lean Nixon with a very good nett 68.  Joy Briggs came 2^nd with a healthy nett score of 70 followed by Natalie White with a nett 74.
