On Saturday, 13 of ours Juniors played the June Medal. Course conditions were great and the Juniors continue to return some superb scores.
In our 18-hole division Austin Rogula continued the great form he’s shown away from Leek GC, coming in 1st with a nett 60 (gross 90). Albie Carter came in 2nd with another excellent score of nett 64. Our Junior Captain, Lewis Foxall, again returned the lowest gross of the day with an impressive round of 80.
Our 9-hole division was short on entrants due to the holidays but this was won by Freddie Brazier with an exceptional 27-points and a personal best unadjusted score of gross 51. The short course division was won by Harry Marson with a score of nett 35 on a back-3 countback over Stanley Tipping. Congratulations to our winners and well done to all that took part, another great turnout and some excellent scores.
