Despite the fine weather and a dry course only one player returned a better than par score at Birchall on Saturday.
Daniel Sharratt scored a massive 45 points off his 31 handicap. This score cost him 4 shots as his handicap was dropped to 27.
Greg Lilley and Josh Smith took second and third places both returning a score of 33 points.
With the CSS at 74 the competition was designated as"reduction only" which proved a welcome relief to a number of players.
Leann Nixon came first in the 10 hole competition by finishing 3 shots better than James Sharratt ( Dan's younger brother ) thus preventing a family clean sweep.
Congratulations to both winners. particularly Daniel on his magnificent score.
