133 participants were blessed with fine weather and reasonable conditions to battle it out against each other to win the latest of the 2011 'major' competitions.

No less than 19 scores were under par, with CSS not surprisingly set at 70.

Leading the way in victory was Dean Tatlow with a stunning 66 net off a handicap of 9. The other two players with nett 66's were Dave Twist (16) & Terry Alcock (10), who were beaten on countback just failing to prevail. They must have been very disappointed not to have won.

Following in the wake of the above were 5 scores of both 67 net and 68 net and 6 scores of 69 net.

Simon Nadin achieved a'2' on the 1st hole, and John Lewis did the same on the 12th!
