The intention of this competition is to obtain one of the best four net scores or equals, and then get drawn into a knockout to ultimately win the Roberts Cup played on the 8th of May, a 'major' at Leek Golf Club  
The recent rains had helped to make the greens a little more responsive, and 105 entrants battled it out to achieve the target of being entered into the Robert Cup draw. C.S.S. was 70
The attraction of this event to most players is that it is played off full handicap against the whole field, with no upper restriction.
