On the 18th March the ladies played in the Blairs, Gilbert and Wootton prize. Throughout the year a number of lady members generously donate prizes for certain competitions. There is usually about six and the donors choose the format. The format on this occasion was an individual stableford.
The results for the competition were as follows:
1st Jayne Baxter 37 pts
2nd Pauline Swindells 35 pts
3rd Nel Boulton 34 pts
Alongside the above ran a charitable competition The Charles Heeley Challenge Bowl, the charity being The Alcester (Dementia) Café. The final will take place at The Vale Golf Club, Bishampton, Worcestershire in September. The qualifying ladies are Jenny Cordon for silver division and Karen Wilshaw for the bronze division.

Unfortunately the Shelia Hollins and Margaret Bray prize did not take place due to only one team playing due to poor weather conditions. The competition will take place in September.
April 1st 2014
The April medal was won by Joanne Peacock for the silver division and Morag Jones for the bronze. Both scoring 72 nett.
April 8th 2014
Lisa Davies and Paula Parkes chose a 4 ball better ball for their competition. The winners were:
1st Gill Damjanovik and Susan Watson 36pts (countback)
2nd Nel Boulton and Joanne Peacock 36 pts
3rd Jayne Baxter and Pam Glaves 35 pts
April 10th 2014
The extra day medal on the 10th was won by Debbie Barnet with 73 nett.
April 15th 2014
The January medal was won by Jen Flavell with 72 nett for the silver division and Karen Wilshaw with a healthy 69 nett for the bronze. This now places Karen in the silver division.
April 17th 2014
The extra day stableford competition on the 17th was won by Jenny Cordon with 38 pts.
April 22nd 2014
The ladies section ran a Texas Scramble on the 22nd April . The results were as follows:
1st Jen Flavell, Paula Parkes and Liam Nixon - 67 nett
2nd Dorothie Cowburn, Marion Lilley and Wendy Thornhill – 68.3 nett.
3rd Jenny Flower, Deb Barnett and Nel Boulton – 68.8 nett.
