Course Report
The new DRIVING NET located below the 1st TEE is now operational. The GRASS area against the driving net IS NOW OPEN FOR USE. The practice area other than the net is solely for use immediately before the start of a competition and not for general practice.

For you to access the Members Area you do need to SIGN UP TO THE MEMBERS SECTION. Further information not visible to the outside world will be uploaded ongoing to this area.
The Course is now back to being in a very good condition following the Course Maintenance Week.
Some disruption was caused by severe work having to be done on 3 of the greens during that week to assist in bringing them up to the condition of the remaining 15 greens.
This is unfortunate especially at the peak of the playing season but is vital to the long term improvement of our Course.
I am asked "why in summer" the reason is simple the recovery time for the greens to return to their best is only about 2 weeks where as out of the growing season it can take up to 6 weeks to recover and even longer in the Autumn. This method is now quite normal practice amongst golf clubs.
Displayed on the Home page on a Daily Basis will be the current Course Conditions, these will be updated at 8.05am each morning, any restrictions, ie. buggy use, winter greens etc, this information will still be available by telephone.
