Tuesday 3rd April 2012, and the question on everyone's lips was 'where did the lovely weather go? ' Unfortunately the good weather of the past few weeks had deserted us and the rain was upon. However, it didn't stop 34 Ladies taking to the course to compete in the April Medal Competition.
The competition Standard Scratch was 72 which was a good indicator of how difficult the conditions were. There were some good scores though in spite of the wet weather.
The winner of the Silver Division with a very respectable and good score of 71 was Julie Postlethwaite. The winner of the Bronze Division was Lisa Davies who scored a Nett 73 and beat Rita Molloy and Pauline Swindells on a countback. Well done to all those Ladies for their good play in the conditions. There were 5 Birdies scored in Silver Division and 3 in the Bronze Division no mean feat given the conditions!
Full details of all the scores are posted on the How Did I Do website.
